R. Cohen :
I must inform you that I'm not an audiophile nor do I spend more than an hour a day watching TV. However, after getting this Samsung I am simply blown away by the picture. It is amazing!! Even my friends who are really into their TV's have commented on how absolutely fantastic it is. Delivery was awesome too!!
Kenny (Washington, DC USA) :
I will NEVER buy another SAMSUNG TV again. I should have learned my lesson when my recently purchased 7000 series Samsung 3D TV failed. I thought it was an isolated incident and couldn't possibly happen again so I decided to take the plunge and buy another Samsung. This time a top-of-the-line 8000 series with all the bells and whistles. Within 3 weeks of owning, a blue line ran vertically down the right side of my screen. Since it was under warranty, I was able to have it repaired at no cost (repair man actually was the only positive part of my experience). That's besides the point -- the TV was only 3 weeks old, now sitting next to my malfunctioning 7000 series TV that was not much older (but now out of warranty). The service technician suggested I contact Samsung to request an accommodation -- I pay labor, Samsung pay for parts. Sounds reasonable so I called Samsung and requested. As you might imagine, Samsung did not entertain the idea, hiding behind a warranty technicality. Of course, Samsung is under no obligation to assist in the repair of my 7000 series, but from a business standpoint, losing a customer who has already purchased (2) of their higher-end models, and the negative publicity I intend to disseminate as a result may make their decision a poor one. As much as they would like to believe this issue is isolated, the countless message boards of customers experiencing the same issue speaks volumes. Maybe lightning struck twice in my case. I for one will not find out the odds of lightning striking a 3rd time. Goodbye Samsung. Consider yourself warned!!!

I bought the 55f80000 but I was not impressed with the picture quality so I returned it for the F8500 plasma.. The plasma has much better colors and picture quality.

Samsung UN75F6300 75-Inch 1080p 120Hz Vouchers
Kevin Rogers (Massachusetts):
Got the 60 inch UN60F6300 delivered yesterday. So far we are very happy with this tv. Nice picture. Smart features working well. Was easy to set up remote to work Directv box and Samsung sound bar(has the HDMI ARC so bar actually works via HDMI). Would recommend tv. Will update if any problems arise.
Update: 4/24/2013: Streaming works fine on my tv. I streamed a movie off of Amazon Instant video. No lag at all. I have had no problems streaming Pandora or You tube. Everything streams fine. No complaints.
Amazonia :
I always shop around locally before ordering anything like this on line, as I like to compare picture quality in person. For the price, this tv was the best option out there for me. Being a smart tv, it has HBO Go, Amazon and Netflix included - I haven't had a problem streaming any of these options. The added advantage - no additional streaming player means less cords to hide. It's space-saving, slim size made hanging it above our fireplace super easy.
The picture is phenomenally crisp and clear. I do have to admit that I used the picture settings posted by another reviewer (thanks, U Lala) which really improved the picture quality and saved me a lot of time fiddling around with it.
I would definitely recommend this HDTV to anyone in the market for one.
C. Lewis "DTown220" (PA, USA):
I've had the UN50F6300 50-Inch TV for 2 weeks. It was a beautiful picture and it looked great on my wall. Then, a week later while I was watching it, I heard a loud "bang" from the TV, and it went dead. Completely dead. No power. Now it's just a big shiny black painting on my wall. Still looks good up there -- too bad I can't watch it. Sounds like a bad power supply or capacitor. Samsung customer service has been a nightmare so far. I will update if it resolved amicably.

Samsung PN60F5500 60-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Vouchers
G. Taylor :
No problems with PN60F5500. A few thoughts:
- Spent weeks going over reviews. In the end, I think every HD set looks great and it would be hard to tell the difference in my living room between this plasma and another.
- Performs well in room with lots of windows..It does have a reflection, but all TVs will. It is acceptable. The kids could care less and I mainly watch TV at night.
- The SMART TV functions work well, but in reality beyond Netflix and Vudu I do not think I will use them much...There is a fitness app that looked neat, but it looks like too much work.
- Sound is average. Got a Polk sound bar and very happy with that choice.
- Remote is interesting. Has voice capability but it is gimmicky and will never be used.
- 3D feature is better than I expected it would be. Did not buy it for the 3D but it looked perfect. Watched Avengers 3D and was impressed. May watch more. The glasses seem cheap, but they are only $20.00. 3D was much better at night in a dark room.
- In the end, highly recommended. Great price on a new model HDTV.
Billy Bechamp (Val-Des-Monts, Quebec Canada):
This is a great TV. Love it. The picture quality is awesome.
I had an issue with it after 1 week, there's 3 Yellow lines that appeared on the display. Had to contact Samsung Support and within 2 days a technician was over to replace 3 circuit boards. No issues since. It's been 2 months now.
There's a software bug with the TV at the moment where in a high brilliance scene (ie. hockey game when the ice is taking up most of the screen) the TV dims the brightness in and out.. It's very annoying but Samsung has confirmed that they are working on a fix that will be pushed as a firmware update. So no biggie. I can wait for the fix.
All in all, great TV and awesome manufacturer support.

I purchased the 51 inch about a month ago, from Amazon, and the delivery was super quick and easy. I am blown away by the features of this TV. It is very simple to use, and operate. I also bought a refurbished 3D Blue Ray Samsung surround sound audio, and an Apple TV. When I turn on the TV, it also turns on the surround sound. I watched the life of pi in 3D, with the glasses, and it was amazing! Super easy to go through the initial set up. No problems connecting my wi-if. I would buy this again in a minute. I love the way it looks, and the HD channels make a huge difference. I feel like this TV is worth much more than what I paid. Super happy!!

Samsung UN60F8000 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Vouchers
CC reader:
We researched extensively before replacing our 10 year old set. We knew we wanted backlit LCD rather than Plasma and we wanted to go bigger. We looked at many sets but settled on the Samsung UN55ES7200 and UN55F8000. Based upon the reviews there were some issues with the ES8000, which was an early generation of Samsung smart tvs. While that set is meaningfully less expensive we are glad we went with the F8000 released in 2013. The picture is incredibly crisp and, despite its size the set is slim and light weight. The clicker has a touch pad feature and the connections with the internet, HBO, Amazon, Netflix are very easy (even for a non-technically savvy person like me). It connected easily (although it was missing 2 screws which Samsung sent out very quickly) so set up time was nominal. There have been no resolution or lighting issues (as have been described in the ES8000). I have only one constructive comment, the resolution is so very good that you can sometimes see the artificial nature of the movie sets in older movies. If that is the only problem we encounter I believe that is something that can be overlooked. We are really pleased with the purchase and, as always, Amazon delivery was fast and convenient.
Sandi Lutsko :
The picture is amazing! Haven't used the internet yet and probably won't for a while because we don't have a need to use the television for that purpose. We are really excited about skyping with our family 46" Big! The only critique I have is with the smart touch remote (that IS very cool and feels good in your hand.) There aren't really instructions and you just have to figure everything out. After now having the television for about 3 weeks, we are getting it. It seems to become unpaired with the bluetooth about once a week and the batteries that came with it have already died.
R. Naylor "Gadget Geek" (Washington, DC USA) :
Out of the box images are great! I will tweak it later, but happy overall with it. I did the flush mount, so the entire depth with the TV is a little less than 2" in a tight spot. I'm not having any luck with the hand gestures and can't get the camer to look down as opposed to straight out, which seams weird that they wouldn't have an adjustment for it, so I need to look into that, otherwise, it gets from my shoulders up to the ceiling!

Kyle E. Kneisl (East Coast, USA):
Having had a good experience with a 50" Samsung we bought about 4 years ago for the downstairs, we thought it was time to replace the P.O.S. in the master bedroom (a 32" Dynex from 5 years ago) with this new Samsung model.
Wow. Just wow. It's like night and day. Read the other reviews for information on the picture and the software. I don't want to rehash all of that, but we run Netflix effortlessly, etc, works awesome for our HTPC on 1080p, etc. Also, and I surely did not expect this, but the wi-fi capability in this television is DUAL BAND. That was a HUGE surprise, and I was absolutely ecstatic that I could connect this on the 5Ghz band instead of my somewhat overcrowded 2.4Ghz access point. The damn thing asked me for my zip code, then asked what kind of cable I had...I chose Verizon FiOS fiber optic for my city, and I'll be darned if the thing doesn't load up the whole guide and everything. Really nice.
The thing only uses a couple watts, really, and it's really spectacularly bright. Much, much, much, brighter than any television I've owned. This LED stuff is really coming into its own now.
Buy buy buy.
Big-D:
TV size is perfect for bedroom, good features, great picture, plus it's a smart TV. I have several samsung products and love them all.
Art (USA) :
I won't rehash what the other reviews have stated, but this one is truly a smart tv. Having been a Sony fan for so long, I was hesitant to switch brands but did so after friends raved about Samsung TV's. What has been truly outstanding about this TV and this ability to incorporate basic Set-Top-Box functions into the Samsung stock remote. I can now finally say I can control all my home theater appliances with a single remote! Just note, the IR extender that comes with the TV needs to be placed a foot or so in front of the device you are trying to control and not anywhere else; if you don't do that (and place it far away from the device to-be-controlled), the Samsung remote can't assume control of the box.
Great buy!

Elizabeth Hodges:
I researched this tv and the ES series for over 6 months before I pulled the trigger. Love the TV. On the 60" version of the F7100, the bezel is a little bit thicker than the smaller sizes. But it looks great. Has a very nice aluminum bezel.
Just like all LED's, you will see a little bit of clouding on extremely dark scenes. But that is to be expected. Definitely not a deal breaker on the tv. The 3D feature of the TV is the best i've seen, hands down! I've always been a sceptic when it came to 3D on TV's, but now I cant help but think.... WOW! 3D is top notch on the F7100.
For the money, you will not find a better TV. Trust me!
tammyt1976 (NJ, United States):
I love it. Excellent picture, color, 3D is amazing (and I'm not even a fan). I've only had it for a week so I'm still learning. Smart TV...is great. I love the fact that I can link my amazon prime membership to the TV to download movies/TV.
Again...so far, so good.
JOHN P. DOLLY (NORTHPORT, AL USA) :
I want to thank the reviewer who provided all the setting info. Without his recommendations I would never even have found most of the picture and color settings. The manual is good for turning on the TV after that you need to use the remote which I found difficult to use. I'll probably get a universal remote with keys. I have a big hand and fingers and using the small touch pad was a joke. The TV itself looks terrific and the picture once you get it set is amazing. My wife and I watched the 3D version of AVATAR using a Samsung 6500 3D blue ray player. We enjoyed the clarity and visuals even more than when we saw it in the theater. Conversion of 2D to3 D was not great but playing 3D movies is a great experience. Overall I would have given the set 5 stars except for the small remote and lack of a helpful manual. We ordered the TV through Amazon and they delivered on time and it was very easy to deal with them. This TV is large and comes in a box 6 ft long so we needed to have it delivered in rural Alabama.

Mandy Payne "Is it just me?" (Palm Harbor, Florida) :
We've had this TV for several months. We were happy with the original purchase and are still just as happy. The picture is amazing and the size is ideal for our 18x16 room. I use Roku on it along with Xbox and a blu ray player. All of them work seamlessly. This television gets almost constant use and we have no complaints. Setting this up was very simple and using it and its features is just as simple.
The TV is priced better here than at Best Buy.
Sandra Lowe :
Easy installation. Easy set up. Sterling performance. Any negatives that I read about the sound quality were unfounded. Good-to-great sound. Menu-driven set up is simple.
Andrew Beasley (Vienna, VA USA) :
It is a very good TV. Sure it does not have all the bells and whistles and has a limited number of HDMI slots, but it does do the job well. Only complaint I have is that the built in speakers could be better, but I plan on getting real speakers and a receiver to compliment this TV. Considering three years ago, a TV like this cost 2400, I would say I am happy with with what I got for the price.

We added this tv to our computer/guest room. Someone trying to sell me a 720 said the difference in picture between the 720 and 1080 at this small a screen was not that noticable. He was WRONG. Great picture and (for a change) good sound. The 10 watt speakers make a difference; not like a expensive sound system, but good sound for general use.
Linda Bruck:
Excellent, clear picture! So glad we waited for the 2013 model to come out it was certainly worth the wait!!
Garden Gnome :
This is my 3rd Samsung TV and I am very happy with all of them. They are well made and worth every penny you spend on them. Excellent product, picture, sound and is a quality product.

Wayne :
This tv is hands down in my opinion the best you can buy in a 40 inch model for 2013. I bought the un40f6300 for my bedroom and the un40f6400 for my living room. Both are great tv's however out of curiosity i put them side by side just to compare the difference in picture and the 6400 3d model definately had deeper blacks and a better contrast in colors making for a overall better looking picture. This was done with both tv's on the same settings and both using the same feed wich is dish network and hd receivers. The 3d on the 6400 is amazing ! I own a panasonic 55st30 with active 3d and in my opinion the 3d on this samsung looks even better. I compared the 3d quality watching avatar 3d. There is nothing about the new samsung i dont love and i had to give it a 5 star rating. It has the coolest remote i've seen also and all the tv feautures work terrific. I can even use my wireless keyboard to navigate the web rather then the remote if i want and it works great. Seriously if you are interested in this television but not sure if its the one, i can assure you i am very particular and i looked at every 40 inch led there is and this one had the best picture of any 40 inch led on the market today. Hope i was of help for those that are trying to make a decision..
E. Tucker (IA, USA):
Have had good luck with Samsung (had one of their DLPs for six years.) Wasn't married to the brand, I was also looking at Sharp. Samsung's smart features seemed more refined, and the web browser got good reviews. I watch a lot of streaming stuff from different sites (like, apart from Youtube, Dailymotion, and other sites with apps, though I do use those as well.) So I needed something that was flexible.
Was going to go with a 60" F6300 here
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BCGRVN0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00BCGRVN0&linkCode=as2&tag=stupisms-20
but I found the 55" to be more manageable and cheaper. It came down to the F6300 and the F6400, and the remote on the F6400 had a trackpad and voice commands, which makes web browsing much easier. It also uses the Samsung keyboard, though I don't own one yet. 3D is nice, but not critical, and the microdimming part doesn't sway me one way or the other.
I've had the TV in my house for about a month now. What do I like best? THe image quality and web browsing. Followed by how easily it pairs your accounts, such as Youtube.
What cons have I noticed? I don't like the slightly dark corners that plague edge-lit LEDs. Maybe the same sharing of content with other smartphones aside from Samsung. Better app functionality - the Youtube and other apps could definitely benefit from a virtual keyboard rather than scrolling through letters.
TV's have advanced so much in the last few years on the app and web browsing front. This TV is a great example of that progression when compared to where they were just a few years ago.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to a friend (or fellow amazon shopper).
Jennifer Heaney:
I love the TV. Great picture quality and I love all of the Smart TV aspects and Apps. The Remote is touch screen and it takes forever to input letters and numbers. Makes everything much harder than needed.

I love the TV. Great picture quality and I love all of the Smart TV aspects and Apps. The Remote is touch screen and it takes forever to input letters and numbers. Makes everything much harder than needed.

Just picked this up a few days ago. Since this is a new 2013 model, there is conflicting information on websites as to whether this tv supports 3D or not. It does. Visit Samsung's website for full details. This FH6030 is pretty much the same as last years EH6030, but does not have the 3D glasses included and is at a lower retail price.
Wanted a 3D TV but had no use for Smart features (streaming Netflix, Amazon, etc) as my TV is hooked up to my HTPC. This is one of the very few TV's with 3D and no Smart features. And it's priced accordingly. Easy to set up and fairly light if you are doing a wall mounting. Picture is good as expected with any Samsung product and has multiple setup options. Connects to the internet but the connection is used only for software updates. Like so many others, I really don't care for the Auto Motion or LED Motion Plus features that smooth the picture. Others call this the "Soap Opera" effect, but what it really does, to my eyes, is reduce sharpness and blur out/soften/dim the picture. I just turn them off.
No 3D glasses are included, but they are less than 20 dollars a pair. The correct glasses to get are the Samsung SSG-5100GB 3D Active Glasses. Pair them with the set (they are bluetooth) and you're good to go. The 2D to 3D conversion is surprisingly good. The 3D is outstanding.
If you want a nice 55 inch TV with 3D and don't need to stream from the TV, this is the one to get.

If you've got a receiver, this is the TV for you. It doesn't have a lot of HDMI inputs (Who cares? you've got a receiver for that!), the speakers suck (So don't all TV speakers!), there are no smart apps (My PS3's got plenty...)
It DOES have an amazing picture and a great price. You can't beat this screen at this price.

So, after many years, we finally upgraded from our old 29" tube Samsung TV to this model. Believe me, I never purchase anything without doing a lot of research, and I did as such. Lot's of research, about 3-4 weeks of it before I decided on this TV. I also looked at TVs at a couple of big box stores, and Samsung TVs looked better than other brands by a long shot.
I didnt care about the 3D, this was just a bonus really. I didn't need any fancy bells & whistles, just a TV.
I had it narrowed down to this model or the Samsung UN46EH5000. We went with this model for the higher refresh rate for just a little bit more money. Now there are some reviewers on here giving bad reviews for picture quality, saying the TV looks terrible. I am convinced these people just don't know how to set it up, or are not hooking the right cables into it. Yes, this TV needs to be calibrated when you set it up, the factory settings are not that good. It's not that hard to do, a little research, a little time & "wah la" this TV looks friggin" amazing. I love the fact this TV has so many different settings, which allows you to really dial it in. There is a great review in these reviews from a very knowledgeable reviewer, that tells you how to dial it in. I didn't go exactly with his settings, but it definatly was a good starting point.
All in all, I am very pleased with this TV. The picture clarity is awesome, the colors rich and vivid, the controls allow you to dial in every aspect of the TV, & with the thin bevel design, the TV looks great too. Would recommend to anybody.

VIZIO E320i-A0 32-inch 720p 60Hz Vouchers
RAAJ A. JANACK :
I was looking for a new TV for my kids room, now that Comcast decided to charge for their "free" digital adapters. The kids were mostly watching Netflix anyway, so I decided to upgrade by getting a Roku Player. Within a month, I saw this TV adverstised and it had all the features I was looking for in a big TV, such as an LED Smart TV 1080. Great price compared to a 22" Samsung I was also looking at. I almost made the decision of purchasing the 22" version of this, but luckily went directly to Vizio's website and noticed the details did not include Ethernet or Wi-Fi and realized that it was not a Smart TV, so one star on Amazon for combining both of these TV's together.
Overall, this TV has worked out perfectly. Great Wi-Fi Connection with the ability to do Ethernet connection. Built in Tuner, so now I get more channels for free, then with the digital adapter. And I can get rid of the Roku Player. Netflix rules especially for kids.
Douglas G. Lally "DougNC" (Raleigh, NC):
I purchased this HDTV for the bedroom and am more than satisfied with it. I mounted it on the wall using a small $25 TV mount. It requires only two screws to hang it so you only have to find one stud in the wall. The built in WiFi and on demand Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc is a game changer. The remote (batteries are included) has one touch features for each of the most popular web channels. I ditched my cable about a year ago and do not miss it. Virtually anything I was paying a cable bill to watch can be found online either for free or for a modest fee. The 1080p picture clarity is crystal sharp and the sound is surprisingly rich. For only $200 this was an excellent purchase. Be cautious if you are looking for the WiFi model, it is only in the 24" model, not the 22". Reading some of these reviews has revealed that some people made that mistake. Highly recommend the Vizio.
annie marx "annie" (dallas, tx):
Just got the TV yesterday and hooked it up this morning for the Macy's parade! Amazing is all I have to say. Install is easy - just attach the base if you are not wall mounting. Took about 10 minutes from box to watching TV. The apps are what make this entire thing so worth while. Before we were streaming video through demand with our blueray player - now you can stream right from the TV, which makes it seamless. You can also watch TV on the side while browsing for a movie to stream. I love the technology.
The thin rim on this TV also makes the profile smaller and increases the viewing area.
Best 2012 purchase and I didn't even have to leave the house!

This TV is a great value. The picture is fantastic. The only negative is the 3d viewing. It's not as accurate as my LG plasma but then again, it's no where near as expensive.

redact :
I purchased this TV just a year and a few months ago and the power is out. The TV has a known defect with the power capacitors. They heat up and blow up. The cost to repair is more than the cost of the TV so this TV will probably end up in a landfill somewhere. This TV is junk, and I am furious I spent the money and less than a year (+2 months) later, the TV is blown. BUYER BEWARE. Samsung is currently settling a large class action lawsuit over this exact problem with the capacitors. See the following story in DailyTech at the following URL:

SassySassy1 (Los Angeles, Ca USA):
I think I love this TV. I just retired a 30 year old Panasonic (which still works just fine) and replaced it with this Samsung. The set up was easy. I haven't played with all the internet / Smart Hub features yet, but the picture, sound and general set up are very good. I am hard of hearing and the sound on this is sufficient to overcome my deficiency, not to mention the set comes with CC built in.
As to the internet / wifi - the set automatically sensed the network, asked for the password, and once that was entered and the necessary agreements in place, all the channels were in play, the wifi was up and running and here we are. The picture is great. This was worth waiting for. I had been waiting for a wifi, 32 inch TV since early last year.
My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is the stand could be a little sturdier. It holds the TV fine, but it is not as stable as I think it should be.
Julio Bergonzi :
Smart hub ceases to work for long periods of time. Most of the time when I try to open the smart hub and connect to the internet, it never does and then the TV turns off and after a few seconds turns back on. To make things worse it keeps turning off and on several times. Occasionally the smart hub opens but it does not recognize the wi-fi signal. I managed to go back to the original setting and it worked well fot a few hours then it went back to doing the same thing.
I am very dissapointed.

Amazonia:
Chris Crawford (Glen Ellyn, IL) :
This 60" TV replaced a 8 year old 42" plasma. This was my first LED/LCD TV after two Panasonic plasmas. Some early impressions:
1. Picture is as good as I hoped. Even colors and lighting. Inky blacks. No complaints here. I have not fine-tuned the colors, and am generally running in "movie" mode. I think my recently purchased Panasonic plasma has more realistic color (e.g. looking at green grass) but I may need to play with the adjustments.
2. The set itself looks great. Thin bezel, unobtrusive logo (I hate big, glowing logos!) Nice, swivel stand that was very easy to assemble.
3. Remote is nothing spectacular. It does configure itself to control your cable box, and it worked with the somewhat obscure Arris box that my provider uses. However, it still can't completely replace the dedicated cable remote, nor is it as configurable as something like a Harmony remote.
4. The SmartTV functions are improving, but they're certainly not the reason to buy this TV. It is kind of nice to have a built-in Amazon and Netflix apps, but honestly, I still prefer a $99 Apple TV over the Samsung capabilities. The TV's web browser app is actually usable in a pinch. (I used it to find the Samsung codes to program my cable remote...)
5. There's a SmartTV function to suggest/preview upcoming TV shows (you tell the TV your cable provider during setup and it fetches schedule information, etc over the internet.) The TV then changes the channel on your cable box for you using an IR blaster which is included with the TV. Irritatingly, it tunes the SD channel rather than the HD channel for my cable provider.
6. The sound is much better than I expected. I figured with small, down-firing speakers I'd need to buy a sound bar right away. I probably still will, but for now, the sound isn't awful.
So, I'd buy this one again, but if "apps" are important to you, I'd probably consider a cheaper model and get a PS3 or an AppleTV.

Look no further, as Samsung gives the best quality product for the best price. I have had 3 prior Samsug tv's prior to this recent purchase, and never had a repairman out for service for any of them (although my earlier Samsung DLP does require periodic replacement of the bulb as it wears out). This 3D tv performs amazing, with colors, brightness, and the app's are an amazing addition too. Everyone who has viewed my LED tv is astounded to its' quality picture and clarity, with NO ghosting, fuzzyness, or blurring during programing with fast content (sports, NASCAR, hockey, etc.). I would look no further than Samsung tv's, just choose your size and buy!
PC Guy (USA):
Pros:
1. Picture quality.
2. Sound is above average for built in speakers. I have it in an average sized bedroom.
3. Smart TV features
4. Thin bezel
5. Easy to set up.
Cons: None
The remote is unusual. Small and thin with a touch pad. No number keys. It also has a microphone. The mute button is on the side. All buttons are backlit.
Amazon delivered in less than three days. Very happy so far. Samsung and Amazon rock!
I love the TV. Great picture quality and I love all of the Smart TV aspects and Apps. The Remote is touch screen and it takes forever to input letters and numbers. Makes everything much harder than needed.

All I can say is Wow!!! Why didn't I do this sooner!!!! Every aspect of the SAMSUNG is great. I watch a lot of TV and I find I'm having to pull myself away from it to get my work done. I worked hard all my life and have paid my dues, so I feel like I have earned the right to have one nice thing in my long life and my TV was my choice of luxuries. I made a very fine choice, and I highly recommend it to all you hard working people out there who have also paid your dues, purchase a SAMSUNG, and you will be as happy as I am. Maybe even happier, if that's possible. I recommend the seller too, great people and very nice.
Jess :
Had a Samsung prior to this one for 5 years decided to upgrade and tried to save a little money so we bought a Vizio a boy did that tv sucked. We returned the tv due to severe flashlighting in the corners of the tv and went ahead and spent the extra money on the samsung it was like night and day.I realized you just have to spend the extra cash for quality when it comes to these tv's.The picture quality is outstanding with really deep blacks pretty good for a led tv with very vivid color something that you always get from samsung, the 3d is really good but i must admit i didnt see a big difference between active and passive 3d glasses. However the netflix on the tv keeps losing signal and hope a firmware update would take care of problem.Overall not a bargain by anymeans but you cant go wrong with samsungs.
Star :
This Samsing tv is so awesome! 3D is just stunning. I watched finding Nemo in 3D and it was so much fun and such outstanding colors. This TV is super sharp! It really is "Smart"; it even recognized my cable box in an instant and synced it the the fantastic remote it came with. The TV remote is awesome, it even has a mouse track pad in the middle. You can download cool apps like Netflix and stream movies or BBC and watch news. It also has voice recognition so you can basically command your TV to do anything from changing channels to typing websites names. It also has a full web browser meaning that it's just like you're on a computer using Safari or other other similar web browsers. Nobody needs to get a more expensive TV than this one, it's the right price with the best of best quality!! Don't even give it another thought, just buy it.

I have this TV for 2 months. I was a fan of Samsung for many years. I'm disappointed with Samsung Smart hub functions.
There are many bugs in the smart hub yet to be fixed. For example, I can't enjoy watching videos at YouTube without having app crash several times. I updated the smart hub, did hard reset several times. But none seems to fix the problem.
Some times you get an audio without a video! So you have to turn off/on the TV which takes about 30-45 seconds. Nothing from Samsung seems to be helpful.
The 3D feature / picture quality is excellent. 5/5
The speakers are average. 3/5
Smart Hub - poor 2/5
Bottom line, I think the TV is overpriced in comparison to other competitors

WOW! I am in love! This TV is the real deal. Amazon you rock! The first TV I received has dead pixels down the right side - I was so disappointed - Amazon prompt replaced my TV the next day. I was surprised and extremely thankful! The first NFL game started tonight and I got to test my new toy. It took me about 30 minutes to get the TV out of the box, put on the legs, attach the cable box top, HDMI, and IR cable. I turned on the TV and the picture was pretty good out of the box. The TV did an automatic firmware update and the picture got better. I configured the picture and sound settings and I was ready to go. I am watching the Thursday Night Football game between the Bronos and Ravens right now. The picture is absolutely amazing. I will have to do a future update of the TV after I connect my Playstation 3 to it. Thanks Amazon for the absolutely amazing service! I almost went with the 7500. Happy that I went for the 8000. Birthday treat for myself.
R. Naylor "Gadget Geek" (Washington, DC USA):
Out of the box images are great! I will tweak it later, but happy overall with it. I did the flush mount, so the entire depth with the TV is a little less than 2" in a tight spot. I'm not having any luck with the hand gestures and can't get the camer to look down as opposed to straight out, which seams weird that they wouldn't have an adjustment for it, so I need to look into that, otherwise, it gets from my shoulders up to the ceiling!

I don't really have to say anything about this product except, this is what we should have in our homes as a TV. I have a 60" Samsung D series that at the time was top of the line. I chose that model because I could hook a harddrive directly into it and play media, even 3D media and it was flawless. I wanted a tv for my bedroom and this was a nice option that popped up on slickdeals for 358 shipped so I got it. I bought a WD Media player thinking I would need one to play all the different file types on my drives. When the TV came I hooked up the TV and probably 90% of them worked just fine.
The picture on this one is fine, I can't notice a ton of difference between this and my D series. I know its only 60hz versus 240 but everything is filmed for the most part at 24fps and at most 48, so a 60hz refresh isn't a big deal on a non 3D file. If I had to pick a downside I guess I wish it had more USB ports but thats pretty nitpicky. The remote feels pretty cheap, but all Samsung remotes I've seen aren't great. Overall the value of this tv is great and I'd highly recommend it.
Robert C. Matejka "Dodgerbob" (Fort Mill, SC) :
This is easily the best TV I have ever seen or listened to. The sound is even more outstanding than the picture quality when compated to other TV's. I use it in the bedroom and do not watch my large screen 2 year old Samsung in the living room at all.
Tremendous value for the money.
Set up was a little slow in responding to the next step, be patient it will proceed to the next step.
Many easily usable control buttons for individual likes in the set up.
I puposely purchased this TV because it is not a smart TV, but a dumb one. An excellent decision if you just want to watch TV and do not care about other devices.
Blue Bass:
Compared to my old CRT television this set has a great picture. The on board speakers are fine for typical programming but I thought about adding modern external speakers and found no audio output. I should have looked more carefully before buying.

Amazonia:

A quick reply to the reviewer Tyrone Stacey. Why would you buy a 540hp Mercedes E class sedan...because you can afford it and most of all because its fun to drive. So why lend a negative review of a television if you don't have it.
I had the pleasure of owning the Sony 65" 4K television until this Samsung came out. The Samsung blows the Sony away. Both of these television sets have amazing resolution and very impressive up scaling capability.Blue Ray, NetFlix and HD TV look noticeably better. I had the salesman demo a Batman Blu Ray to compare 1080P to 4K and the upscaling was obvious. This is very important if you are considering a 4K TV purchase.
Where the Sony and Samsung differ the most is in color reproduction. There always seemed to be a washed look on the Sony. The Samsung is brighter the blacks are about the same. The screen on the Samsung is more forgiving in bright rooms.
I did prefer the UI on the Sony but the Samsung is by no means lacking.

I have worked in consumer electronics for 20 years. I was an instructor at CES for several companies for 6+ years. I have toured the LED/LCD plants overseas where they make these (and other) displays. This display is nothing short of amazing. Keep in mind that this display is bleeding edge and needs to be treated as such. Make sure you give it a good source. I built a new HTPC just for this display and am happy that I did. Don't plug in a low resolution source and expect it to magically make extra video info/pixels. A bad source will only be that much more obvious with any true 4K TV. If I can offer any advice to a potential owner... don't listen to most of the negative reviews on this product and do your own homework. It is simply amazing!

Gabriel N. Getchell "gfunk" (Bay Area, Ca USA) :
The TV is simply a very good, simple TV. As stated by many others, this TV does not have the sort of Internet Connected bells and whistles you find on more expensive sets. This doesn't bother me - I have 3 devices hooked up to this TV that are already able to do Netflix, Hulu, etc... and far better than I've seen built into a TV. I recently purchased the 50" model and have enjoyed it thoroughly (and I'm very, very particular about image quality).
The TV is a bit thick compared to many other LED lit LCDs - not an issue for me since it will not be wall mounted. The thickness is the result of LED rear-lighting versus LED edge-lighting. While the latter allows thinner panels, the technology inherently lowers the image quality. More expensive sets overcome this issue and provide great pictures, but at the lower-end of the price spectrum, image quality is may be better served by rear-lighting. The set also has none of the "flashlight" effect (bright spots along the screen borders) that is common in even high-end edge-lit sets.
IMHO the black levels produced by a TV are the single most important aspect of overall image quality. This TV does a pretty-darn-good job, but don't expect it to be nearly as good as a decent plasma television. If you keep a few small lights on in the room while you watch a movie the blacks will appear quite nice and dark. In a pitch-black room however, you'll be looking at dark gray instead. The trade off is this TV gets brighter than most plasmas on the market, making it's picture clearer in a brightly lit room. Some edge-lit sets can dim portions of the screen to improve the black level, but this also comes with image trade-offs such as "blooming" (seeing the edge of the brightly lit portion of the screen spilling into the dark areas). Unlike some very high end sets with "full-array" rear-lighting, this set cannot turn off individual LEDs to dim portions of the screen.
This is all really just a long-winded way to say that this TV seems like a good deal, and seems to have image quality that is comparable in several ways to more expensive sets. After weighing the trade-offs of many (MANY) TVs, this seems to have been the right choice for me. It would have gotten 5 stars, but Samsung has decided to put only 2 HDMI inputs on this set (1-2 less than others at the price point). Its a mild annoyance having to use an HDMI switch for several of my components, but far from a deal-breaker and possibly not an issue for the majority of people.
A. Lyons (Clare, Michigan, USA):
If you want a smart TV or a 3D TV, this is not one. That being said, I wanted a TV not another computer-like device, and this fits the bill perfectly. My Bluray player has Wifi and all that jazz if the mood ever strikes me, so why pay hundreds (literally) so my TV can have it. I don't think I'd ever use it, I have a laptop and a smartphone for those types of things. I think there are lots of us with that viewpoint about a TV.
If you want a brilliant HD picture, a nice big-but-not-crazy-huge 50" screen, then this TV is perfect. The thin bezel (frame) makes it look like it's all screen while you're watching it, it's nice! The sound, while some people say it's awful, is actually quite nice considering NO thin LED TVs have booming sound. Compared to TVs of yesteryear this TVs sound is actually nice & crisp with a little bass (not much) and fairly spacious. I find it VERY adequate for day to day watching. i also have the Vizio VHT215 soundbar for when I want to crank it during a movie. But if you've never been a theater sound person then don't believe people who say this TVs sound royally sucks, it doesn't. It's fine, maybe a notch above similar thin TVs on the market.
It has 2 HDMI ports so you can hook up your satellite or cable box, and your Bluray. If this angers you because you also have a Wii or an Xbox, then you'll have to make the sacrifice of either a) a switch, or b) moving a cable, which takes all of 5 seconds. Or if you have a soundbar that has HDMI inputs (like the Vizio VHT215) you can pipe your devices into it (as a switch) and then feed the signal(s) to your TV that way.
If this TV had everything under the sun it wouldn't cost only $1100 and be on sale often for around $800-900. It would cost $2400....which is what some upper-end Samsungs do cost. So therefore, don't believe the criticism that this TV is "mediocre" based on the fact that it lacks things that make it pricier. It is 120Hz (midrange to good); 1080p (as good any other); 20watt sound (good, on par with competitors); 50" (well, it's big but not huge- plenty for sitting 10-15' away); Nice looking (as most black TVs are); Matte screen (keeps extra reflections to a minimum); has a backlit remote control [the buttons light up] (a touch that most competitor don't offer- nice for night time viewing); has zillions of color, brightness, LED level, smooth motion, movie, dynamic, blah blah blah adjustments (if you're a tweaker you can tweak to your heart's content); it has a joystick-style control on the bottom right-of-center edge instead of buttons (for power on/off, settings, menu, etc- unique to most TVs).
Anyway, you get the idea. It has all those things new TVs have, plus Samsung's reputable picture quality. Oh, and it states it costs an average of $11 to run. For a year. Wow. I think my old Sony boob tube cost that a month! And I'll brag a little, this TV only cost me $447. Haha, I scored four $100 gift cards to Best Buy from work and it was on sale for $799. Cha ching for me.
Uber-happy with this TV because I knew what I was buying before I bought it, and it has what I want and not extra bloatware I don't need. well worth the $800 sale price, and I honestly think it's worth the $1100 retail tag.
Cheers!

Impressive performance, excellent looks, and excellent value earns this TV five stars. I feel like this TV is worth more than I payed for it. If you want a big TV that performs well without spending a lot, this is a TV to consider. I've purchased one for the living room and another for my bedroom. That's how much I love this TV. I use it for HD Comcast, video games, and for blu ray. Amazon instant video looks great on this as well. Other big TV owners who've come to my home are always impressed by this TV. Name brand performance at value band pricing. It's a win win. Buy this over a value brand like Vizio or Westinghouse.

Samsung UN65F6400 65-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Vouchers

This Samsung 55 LED arrived via Pilot delivery service. Contrary to previous reviews of Pilot - my experience with them was top notch. Communications with Pilot were great via email. I ordered the Tv on Saturday and it arrived Thursday. The handlers were polite and opened the TV with care. They did not place the TV on stand. We felt comfortable taking time to view the TV and check front and back surfaces.
When the TV was turned on the first time, we were instantly impressed!! Our previous Samsung 46 LCD - was 4 years old and had been purchased through Amazon. A nice picture improvement going from LCD to LED. Paper manual is limited
Tee4me (Snipeville, OK) :
I bought this TV for the plethora of glowing reviews it received for its picture performance. I also bought it because it had built-in Wi-Fi. The picture quality is simply amazing! Scenes broadcast in HD look as if they're almost 3D, and by that I mean everything is so clear with unbelievable depth that it makes it look like people and things being broadcast are in the room with you! I previously owned a Panasonic Viera plasma TV, and I can honestly say this Samung LED TV has an even better picture. I didn't think any other current TV technology (except 4K) could touch a plasma. I was wrong. I can't say enough about the picture quality.
Now for the bad/sad part. The Samsung SmartHub and its network ruins the total experience of this otherwise fantastic TV. The wifi connected easily and works pretty well for direct Internet surfing. HOWEVER, when you try to use the SmartHub to view streaming content from Netflix, Vudu, Amazon Instant Video, Blockbuster, etc, it is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I have upgraded broadband service from my cable provider so my network connection is plenty fast. However, when I tried to use Netflix, Blockbuster and Amazon Instant Video through my new Samsung TV/SmartHub, my streaming video would constantly pause/stop. At first I thought it was my network connection, so I tried to play the exact same HD movie on Netflix through my Wi-Fi enabled LG Blu-Ray player and it streamed perfectly. Let me say that again: The same movie on Netflix - - through Samsung SmartHub = SLOW/PAUSE/STOP; through my LG WiFi Blu-Ray player = SMOOTH, NO HICCUPS (remember, both are using the same WiFi signal being transmitted by my router).
PLEASE do your own due diligence before investing in ANY Samsung product that touts its SmartHub if you plan to use it to watch streaming video, whether it's a TV, DVD or Blu-Ray player. There are many web pages, websites and forums which discuss the DISMAL performance of the SmartHub network (should be renamed "SlowHub"!!). There's even one called "OFFICIAL Samsung Smart Hub Fiasco Thread." For as fantastic as 99% of Samsung products are (I currently own/use 9 other Samsung products such as the Galaxy Note and Epic and I love them), I have to think that they have subcontracted their "SlowHub" service to a Third party. If the quality of the network was as good as their hardware/physical products, it would work smoothly and lightning fast.
To be fair, if Samsung actually listens to its users/customers and actually fixes/upgrades its SmartHub network to actually make it perform acceptably, then I will update my review to reflect that fact. Lastly, I was on the verge of returning this TV because of SmartHub's atrocious and revolting performance, but my better half and I loved the picture so much AND we had an alternate means to stream videos to the TV (vice using SlowHub) that it we decided to keep it.
BOTTOM LINE: If you plan to use this or any other Samsung LED TV to simply watch TV for the superb picture, you'll be happy. BUT, if you plan to use the SmartHub and its "features," you will be SORELY DISAPPOINTED. Picture = 5 stars; SmartHub = 1 star (would give it '0' or '1/2' if Amazon had those as selections).

Samsung UN40EH5000 40-Inch 1080p 60Hz Vouchers
wfc:
As a grandmother who is not as technologically advanced as the younger generation, I did have concerns about buying a television that had to be programmed and the stand installed before using. However, my fears were unwarranted. As soon as I turned it on, I was stepped through the programming and the stand or base was very simple to install. With the weight only being less than 15 pounds, I was also easily able to manuever it by myself. I was watching programs within an hour although younger people would have managed all of this in fifteen minutes.
My initial reason for wanting a newer television was due to my waning vision so had been looking into the 1080p with a 32" screen for some time. I can't believe how much I can read on that screen now that wasn't clear to me before. I had been advised that Samsung was one of most trustworthy brands, but found them locally to be out of my price range. This one was reasonably priced and with my Amazon Prime membership was shipped to me free and quickly I might add.
I am very pleased with the color and the sound plus the ease of use with the remote in case I do have to change the color or sound in the future. I'm not thrilled with having to adjust the size of the picture when going from watching a news program with written information at the bottom of the screen to watching a movie, but it is easy to do so will just have to adjust to that feature.
J. Karels (U.S.):
I received this TV yesterday to add a TV for our bedroom. I own another Samsung LCD so I knew I would be happy with this one.
Since it was going into the bedroom, it didn't need to be fancy or have all the bells and whistles. I figure I'll add a Roku or Apple TV to it and be all set.
While this TV is LED, it's not as thin as you're used to seeing. I believe it's just over three inches thick in the rear, but it has a very thin bezel up front. It has minimal connections in back, but all I'll ever use is HDMI, so that doesn't concern me. Picture quality out-of-the-box is great and became even nicer with a little tweaking. That's usually the first thing I do is try to eyeball calibrate it at first. It's too new to have any good calibration settings posted on the net; I figure I'll use last year's 'D' model as a guideline and wait until settings are posted. I did not notice any flash-lighting with this model -- something that plagued last year's 'D' lineup. I have yet to play any 1080p material on this to really test it (only watched a few minutes of HDTV ((720p)) broadcasts), so I'll update this post when I do.
Note this year's 'EH' line is Samsung's basic model lineup, with the 'ES' being the more expensive, feature-laden models. This is a great set if you want a basic, quality LED with a nice pricepoint.
EDIT 3/5/2012: Update 1080p content. I've set up my streaming process to this TV with some 1080p material and it is gorgeous. We recently watched Toy Story on this set, and I was blown away by the color depth and detail this TV displayed. A small caveat: with all TVs, the speakers could use some improvement. Set on the 'standard' audio output, the sound is fine. If you set it to 'music' or 'movie', the audio sounds much better, but can rattle the TV's enclosure if the volume is set high.

I have always been a plasma guy. Not a fan of motion blur.. As I love movies and sports. But needed a 32 for the bed room. Smallest plasma tv are 42. Researched tons of tvs. Returned 2 Visio led razors as the picture was great but the sound was terrible. This tv has great picture and very good sound. Movie and tru hd sound setting... Big plus.. Also best looking tv as it is mostly screen. If you are looking for a very good LED tv this is the one.

Samsung UN40FH6030 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Vouchers
Frankl8593 (USA) :
Paul Juliano (Waltham, MA United States):
If you've got a receiver, this is the TV for you. It doesn't have a lot of HDMI inputs (Who cares? you've got a receiver for that!), the speakers suck (So don't all TV speakers!), there are no smart apps (My PS3's got plenty...)
It DOES have an amazing picture and a great price. You can't beat this screen at this price
Chris Rich:

You can't beat this screen at this price
