R. Cohen :
I must inform you that I'm not an audiophile nor do I spend more than an hour a day watching TV. However, after getting this Samsung I am simply blown away by the picture. It is amazing!! Even my friends who are really into their TV's have commented on how absolutely fantastic it is. Delivery was awesome too!!
Kenny (Washington, DC USA) :
I will NEVER buy another SAMSUNG TV again. I should have learned my lesson when my recently purchased 7000 series Samsung 3D TV failed. I thought it was an isolated incident and couldn't possibly happen again so I decided to take the plunge and buy another Samsung. This time a top-of-the-line 8000 series with all the bells and whistles. Within 3 weeks of owning, a blue line ran vertically down the right side of my screen. Since it was under warranty, I was able to have it repaired at no cost (repair man actually was the only positive part of my experience). That's besides the point -- the TV was only 3 weeks old, now sitting next to my malfunctioning 7000 series TV that was not much older (but now out of warranty). The service technician suggested I contact Samsung to request an accommodation -- I pay labor, Samsung pay for parts. Sounds reasonable so I called Samsung and requested. As you might imagine, Samsung did not entertain the idea, hiding behind a warranty technicality. Of course, Samsung is under no obligation to assist in the repair of my 7000 series, but from a business standpoint, losing a customer who has already purchased (2) of their higher-end models, and the negative publicity I intend to disseminate as a result may make their decision a poor one. As much as they would like to believe this issue is isolated, the countless message boards of customers experiencing the same issue speaks volumes. Maybe lightning struck twice in my case. I for one will not find out the odds of lightning striking a 3rd time. Goodbye Samsung. Consider yourself warned!!!

I bought the 55f80000 but I was not impressed with the picture quality so I returned it for the F8500 plasma.. The plasma has much better colors and picture quality.

Samsung UN75F6300 75-Inch 1080p 120Hz Vouchers
Kevin Rogers (Massachusetts):
Got the 60 inch UN60F6300 delivered yesterday. So far we are very happy with this tv. Nice picture. Smart features working well. Was easy to set up remote to work Directv box and Samsung sound bar(has the HDMI ARC so bar actually works via HDMI). Would recommend tv. Will update if any problems arise.
Update: 4/24/2013: Streaming works fine on my tv. I streamed a movie off of Amazon Instant video. No lag at all. I have had no problems streaming Pandora or You tube. Everything streams fine. No complaints.
Amazonia :
I always shop around locally before ordering anything like this on line, as I like to compare picture quality in person. For the price, this tv was the best option out there for me. Being a smart tv, it has HBO Go, Amazon and Netflix included - I haven't had a problem streaming any of these options. The added advantage - no additional streaming player means less cords to hide. It's space-saving, slim size made hanging it above our fireplace super easy.
The picture is phenomenally crisp and clear. I do have to admit that I used the picture settings posted by another reviewer (thanks, U Lala) which really improved the picture quality and saved me a lot of time fiddling around with it.
I would definitely recommend this HDTV to anyone in the market for one.
C. Lewis "DTown220" (PA, USA):
I've had the UN50F6300 50-Inch TV for 2 weeks. It was a beautiful picture and it looked great on my wall. Then, a week later while I was watching it, I heard a loud "bang" from the TV, and it went dead. Completely dead. No power. Now it's just a big shiny black painting on my wall. Still looks good up there -- too bad I can't watch it. Sounds like a bad power supply or capacitor. Samsung customer service has been a nightmare so far. I will update if it resolved amicably.

Samsung PN60F5500 60-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Vouchers
G. Taylor :
No problems with PN60F5500. A few thoughts:
- Spent weeks going over reviews. In the end, I think every HD set looks great and it would be hard to tell the difference in my living room between this plasma and another.
- Performs well in room with lots of windows..It does have a reflection, but all TVs will. It is acceptable. The kids could care less and I mainly watch TV at night.
- The SMART TV functions work well, but in reality beyond Netflix and Vudu I do not think I will use them much...There is a fitness app that looked neat, but it looks like too much work.
- Sound is average. Got a Polk sound bar and very happy with that choice.
- Remote is interesting. Has voice capability but it is gimmicky and will never be used.
- 3D feature is better than I expected it would be. Did not buy it for the 3D but it looked perfect. Watched Avengers 3D and was impressed. May watch more. The glasses seem cheap, but they are only $20.00. 3D was much better at night in a dark room.
- In the end, highly recommended. Great price on a new model HDTV.
Billy Bechamp (Val-Des-Monts, Quebec Canada):
This is a great TV. Love it. The picture quality is awesome.
I had an issue with it after 1 week, there's 3 Yellow lines that appeared on the display. Had to contact Samsung Support and within 2 days a technician was over to replace 3 circuit boards. No issues since. It's been 2 months now.
There's a software bug with the TV at the moment where in a high brilliance scene (ie. hockey game when the ice is taking up most of the screen) the TV dims the brightness in and out.. It's very annoying but Samsung has confirmed that they are working on a fix that will be pushed as a firmware update. So no biggie. I can wait for the fix.
All in all, great TV and awesome manufacturer support.

I purchased the 51 inch about a month ago, from Amazon, and the delivery was super quick and easy. I am blown away by the features of this TV. It is very simple to use, and operate. I also bought a refurbished 3D Blue Ray Samsung surround sound audio, and an Apple TV. When I turn on the TV, it also turns on the surround sound. I watched the life of pi in 3D, with the glasses, and it was amazing! Super easy to go through the initial set up. No problems connecting my wi-if. I would buy this again in a minute. I love the way it looks, and the HD channels make a huge difference. I feel like this TV is worth much more than what I paid. Super happy!!

Samsung UN60F8000 60-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Vouchers
CC reader:
We researched extensively before replacing our 10 year old set. We knew we wanted backlit LCD rather than Plasma and we wanted to go bigger. We looked at many sets but settled on the Samsung UN55ES7200 and UN55F8000. Based upon the reviews there were some issues with the ES8000, which was an early generation of Samsung smart tvs. While that set is meaningfully less expensive we are glad we went with the F8000 released in 2013. The picture is incredibly crisp and, despite its size the set is slim and light weight. The clicker has a touch pad feature and the connections with the internet, HBO, Amazon, Netflix are very easy (even for a non-technically savvy person like me). It connected easily (although it was missing 2 screws which Samsung sent out very quickly) so set up time was nominal. There have been no resolution or lighting issues (as have been described in the ES8000). I have only one constructive comment, the resolution is so very good that you can sometimes see the artificial nature of the movie sets in older movies. If that is the only problem we encounter I believe that is something that can be overlooked. We are really pleased with the purchase and, as always, Amazon delivery was fast and convenient.
Sandi Lutsko :
The picture is amazing! Haven't used the internet yet and probably won't for a while because we don't have a need to use the television for that purpose. We are really excited about skyping with our family 46" Big! The only critique I have is with the smart touch remote (that IS very cool and feels good in your hand.) There aren't really instructions and you just have to figure everything out. After now having the television for about 3 weeks, we are getting it. It seems to become unpaired with the bluetooth about once a week and the batteries that came with it have already died.
R. Naylor "Gadget Geek" (Washington, DC USA) :
Out of the box images are great! I will tweak it later, but happy overall with it. I did the flush mount, so the entire depth with the TV is a little less than 2" in a tight spot. I'm not having any luck with the hand gestures and can't get the camer to look down as opposed to straight out, which seams weird that they wouldn't have an adjustment for it, so I need to look into that, otherwise, it gets from my shoulders up to the ceiling!

Kyle E. Kneisl (East Coast, USA):
Having had a good experience with a 50" Samsung we bought about 4 years ago for the downstairs, we thought it was time to replace the P.O.S. in the master bedroom (a 32" Dynex from 5 years ago) with this new Samsung model.
Wow. Just wow. It's like night and day. Read the other reviews for information on the picture and the software. I don't want to rehash all of that, but we run Netflix effortlessly, etc, works awesome for our HTPC on 1080p, etc. Also, and I surely did not expect this, but the wi-fi capability in this television is DUAL BAND. That was a HUGE surprise, and I was absolutely ecstatic that I could connect this on the 5Ghz band instead of my somewhat overcrowded 2.4Ghz access point. The damn thing asked me for my zip code, then asked what kind of cable I had...I chose Verizon FiOS fiber optic for my city, and I'll be darned if the thing doesn't load up the whole guide and everything. Really nice.
The thing only uses a couple watts, really, and it's really spectacularly bright. Much, much, much, brighter than any television I've owned. This LED stuff is really coming into its own now.
Buy buy buy.
Big-D:
TV size is perfect for bedroom, good features, great picture, plus it's a smart TV. I have several samsung products and love them all.
Art (USA) :
I won't rehash what the other reviews have stated, but this one is truly a smart tv. Having been a Sony fan for so long, I was hesitant to switch brands but did so after friends raved about Samsung TV's. What has been truly outstanding about this TV and this ability to incorporate basic Set-Top-Box functions into the Samsung stock remote. I can now finally say I can control all my home theater appliances with a single remote! Just note, the IR extender that comes with the TV needs to be placed a foot or so in front of the device you are trying to control and not anywhere else; if you don't do that (and place it far away from the device to-be-controlled), the Samsung remote can't assume control of the box.
Great buy!

Elizabeth Hodges:
I researched this tv and the ES series for over 6 months before I pulled the trigger. Love the TV. On the 60" version of the F7100, the bezel is a little bit thicker than the smaller sizes. But it looks great. Has a very nice aluminum bezel.
Just like all LED's, you will see a little bit of clouding on extremely dark scenes. But that is to be expected. Definitely not a deal breaker on the tv. The 3D feature of the TV is the best i've seen, hands down! I've always been a sceptic when it came to 3D on TV's, but now I cant help but think.... WOW! 3D is top notch on the F7100.
For the money, you will not find a better TV. Trust me!
tammyt1976 (NJ, United States):
I love it. Excellent picture, color, 3D is amazing (and I'm not even a fan). I've only had it for a week so I'm still learning. Smart TV...is great. I love the fact that I can link my amazon prime membership to the TV to download movies/TV.
Again...so far, so good.
JOHN P. DOLLY (NORTHPORT, AL USA) :
I want to thank the reviewer who provided all the setting info. Without his recommendations I would never even have found most of the picture and color settings. The manual is good for turning on the TV after that you need to use the remote which I found difficult to use. I'll probably get a universal remote with keys. I have a big hand and fingers and using the small touch pad was a joke. The TV itself looks terrific and the picture once you get it set is amazing. My wife and I watched the 3D version of AVATAR using a Samsung 6500 3D blue ray player. We enjoyed the clarity and visuals even more than when we saw it in the theater. Conversion of 2D to3 D was not great but playing 3D movies is a great experience. Overall I would have given the set 5 stars except for the small remote and lack of a helpful manual. We ordered the TV through Amazon and they delivered on time and it was very easy to deal with them. This TV is large and comes in a box 6 ft long so we needed to have it delivered in rural Alabama.

Mandy Payne "Is it just me?" (Palm Harbor, Florida) :
We've had this TV for several months. We were happy with the original purchase and are still just as happy. The picture is amazing and the size is ideal for our 18x16 room. I use Roku on it along with Xbox and a blu ray player. All of them work seamlessly. This television gets almost constant use and we have no complaints. Setting this up was very simple and using it and its features is just as simple.
The TV is priced better here than at Best Buy.
Sandra Lowe :
Easy installation. Easy set up. Sterling performance. Any negatives that I read about the sound quality were unfounded. Good-to-great sound. Menu-driven set up is simple.
Andrew Beasley (Vienna, VA USA) :
It is a very good TV. Sure it does not have all the bells and whistles and has a limited number of HDMI slots, but it does do the job well. Only complaint I have is that the built in speakers could be better, but I plan on getting real speakers and a receiver to compliment this TV. Considering three years ago, a TV like this cost 2400, I would say I am happy with with what I got for the price.
